SOLID ROCK – The Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act 19 July 1900

With the defeat of the State of Tasmania in the Gordon below Franklin Dam case, politics and law changed forever in Australia.

The significance of this one case has created hope for the environment in any Heritage Listed areas of our country.

It has also shifted power away from the states into the hands of the Commonwealth  and in VCE Legal Studies this is important.
